Petit Atelier is a boutique interior design studio based in New Orleans. Our work blends antiques and heirlooms with curated finds, custom upholstery, and refined finishes, reviving character through thoughtful restoration and considered detail. We partner with artisans, trades, and local makers, with a special focus on women- and Black-owned businesses. Our goal is to craft spaces that are uniquely curated, invitingly comfortable, and quietly luxurious. The result is a home that carries its place with pride, surprises and delights in the details, and welcomes the people you love to linger.
From architectural details and space planning to furnishings and final styling, every choice is made with respect for the home’s story, preserving it’s history while making room for modern life.
Our expertise in custom furniture and bespoke pieces sets our work apart, collaborating with independent artisans to create one-of-a-kind furniture, drapery, and textiles tailored to your home. With a layered approach that blends antiques, curated vintage, and refined finishes, we shape spaces that feel collected, soulful, and quietly luxurious.
As a child, Blair was deeply influenced by the city's rich history, traditions, and culture. She cherishes memories of exploring antique shops on Magazine Street with her mother and running through Hurwitz Mintz on Royal Street with her father. She draws inspiration from the small, hidden gems that make New Orleans so special and it continues to inform her aesthetic today.
With a keen eye for style, Blair blends her client's unique perspectives with her personal travels and design knowledge to create one-of-a-kind, thought-provoking spaces. She believes in harmoniously blending the past and present in design.
